Ethno village Stanisici Bijeljina

stanisici2At the exit from Bijeljina at the third kilometer of the Pavlović bridge is Ethno village Stanisić.

Etno village Stanisic, beyond the current time and space, move us back to our ancestors and nature, and awakens in us the admiration of the simplicity of the former way of life. Here eyes and soul find rest, man becomes a noble, but wiser listening creek flow and mill work.

Ethno village Stanisići was founded in 2003, thanks to the inspiration of Boris Stanisić. More than a few years he has traveled throughout the Serbian villages of central Bosnia in search of old houses and objects that will save the idea of one era and culture of living at the end of the 19th and early 20th century. The result is an authentic mountain village in the middle of Semberska plain.

The village now have two distinctive parts One showing secular life and was built of wood. Consists of wooden houses - chalets with furniture that belonged to it for centuries. Houses are associated with paved stone paths, and in the center of the village there are two lakes. Other whole is spiritual in character and is represented by the medieval architecture built in stone, which is actually a set of replicas of historical and religious significance.
